Advertising brief.

My advertising brief for class involves selling the product Mr. Cheese to a New Zealand audience. Its manufactured by Tatua, just outside of Morrinsville New Zealand, and boosts %30 real cheese. So how do I sell this stuff ?

Links below are some inspiration. An idea I am looking into at the moment a parody. Mr. Cheese, I am afraid comes across as American Sh*t. I feel it would be a bad idea to attempt to con a New Zealand audience into thinking its a great kiwi product. It just isn't. So perhaps I could use self deprecating 'kiwi' humour to my advantage. Rather than inspire an audience, make them laugh? Maybe. Here are some old ads I found that I feel could be interesting to delve into. And I don't think they're too far in the past to be forgotten.

Also at the back of my mind is this guy. Famous Kiwi Burt Munroe.
~ How about Ray Clarke .. Im thinking of making a faction character who invented Mr. Cheese. Perhaps like the old story of the Wright brothers and the Kiwi who sapposably flew 1st.. Could be an idea? The Kiwi laughably inventing it 1st. Could be funny? // hmm.

Also Goldstein: Such a successful ad. Interesting too the idea of the American coming over to our shore .. Much like Mr. Cheese in New Zealand.

This Mainland cheese ad and its slogan "Good things take time". Brilliant ad. -But I want to parody it. Yet not destroy the credibility of Mr. Cheese as a worth product.
